Our Training
We believe a highly trained workforce is key to delivering exceptional care. All Shine Care staff complete comprehensive initial and ongoing training to equip them with the knowledge and skills to support clients effectively.

Specialist and Tailored Training
Beyond these core areas, we invest heavily in tailored, client-specific training to ensure staff are fully equipped to meet each client’s individual needs. This includes specialist modules such as epilepsy management, PEG feeding, and other bespoke approaches designed around the client’s health, communication, and behavioural profile.
Each support team receives dedicated, hands-on training shaped around that individual’s circumstances - enabling carers to deliver confident, compassionate, and truly person-centred care in every situation.
Evolving with the Individual
Our commitment to training extends to how we evaluate and adapt care. Every client has a personalised support plan reflecting their needs, preferences, and goals, reviewed regularly - typically every three to six months, or sooner when needed. These reviews consider progress, life changes, and new challenges to ensure care remains relevant, effective, and empowering.
This ongoing process ensures that both our staff and our approach continue to grow alongside each client we support.
